How to Enroll

Students must apply online for enrollment into Fort Wayne Virtual Academy through the myFWCS Parent Portal. If you have any issues with the application process, please contact the Family & Community Engagement Center at 260-467-2120

Current students do not need to reapply each year and will remain students of FWVA until graduation.

Enrollment

As of the 2025-26 school year, we are now offering open enrollment to any middle school and high school student who currently lives in Indiana.

Enrollment at FWVA is based on space availability. If the number of applications exceeds available spots in a specific grade, students can apply for the FWCS lottery.

Students not selected in the lottery are placed on a waiting list. Families will be notified if a seat becomes available at a later date.

“By expanding statewide, we’re able to share our student-centered approach with families across Indiana who need flexible, high-quality education that fits their unique circumstances.”

- FWCS Superintendent Mark Daniel
